まず、都内の観光として外せないのは浅草。浅草寺というお寺の仲見世通りが賑やかで、まさに外国人観光客の方々が日本を感じる風景ではないかと思います。

【交通・アクセス】
比較的簡単に、地下鉄で浅草の駅に着くことはできるでしょう。「浅草」駅を目指し、東京メトロ銀座線では出口1、都営地下鉄浅草線では出口A4、出口は黄色い看板を探してみましょう。雷門と記載のある出口が分かり易いかと思います。ただし、迷った場合は、どこの出口でもよいので地上に出てしまうことをお勧めします。地下で迷ったところで、何も見えないので、目的地を探しようがないからです。
【観光のポイント】
・観光文化観光センター：雷門の道を挟んだ向かいに、観光案内所があります。こちらは外国人観光客の方々への情報が豊富です。浅草周辺の歴史も知ることができますし、都内の観光情報なども手に入ります。お手洗いもありますので、是非足を運んでみては？
・雷門：日本人でもここでは写真を撮るのが定番！
・仲見世通り：日本のお土産が数多く揃っています。食べ物も色々あり、お団子、人形焼、芋羊羹、せんべい、雷おこし、など仲見世通りらしいラインナップです。気になるものはここでお試しください！これだけ揃っている場所もそうそう無いのです。
・浅草寺のおみくじ：こちらのおみくじは、確か裏に英語表記があったと思います！
・浅草寺の本堂：周辺から五重塔、スカイツリーを写真に収めてみましょう！
・商店街：仲店通りが浅草寺に向かっているのに対し、横にいくつも通りがあります。こちらの商店街も色々と見どころがあります。色々な動物のカフェがあるのも観光地ならでは。特に浅草は多いですね。フクロウカフェ、猫カフェ、柴犬カフェなど。
・ホッピー通り：昼からお酒を楽しむ文化がここにはあります。何件か同じ通りに連なって店を構えており、半分路上で、数少ないエリアと言えるでしょう。比較的安価で飲めますので、尻込みせず入ってみましょう！人情味あふれる下町文化で、周りの方が注文など助けてくれるはずです。
・甘味所：特に和菓子、あんこが好きな方には外せない、あんみつやお汁粉など日本ならではの甘味を味わいたい方にも色々なお店がありますので、お勧めです。
・レンタル浴衣：冬は寒いので、夏場にお勧めですが、いくつかレンタル浴衣のお店があります。日本人もコスプレのように楽しんでいますが、自分自身で浴衣を着るのは容易ではありません。着付けもして貰えるので、是非、記念に浴衣を着て観光してみてはどうでしょう？
・人力車：更に風情を味わいたい方には、人力車も多く見かけます。個人的には、京都での利用をお勧めしますが、浅草〜スカイツリーのルートがあるので、東京だけ観光する場合は良いかもしれません。結構なお値段（2名、10分、4000円位）なので、事前に確認してくださいね。
